A heavily textured oil painting that I worked on over the last two years. It started as a sketch of the landscape but it changed so many times that the finished painting bears no resemblance to the sketch.
The untitled painting sat in my studio for quite a while but when I read the Emily Dickinson poem "I see thee better—in the Dark" I thought it was a fitting title.
